How your application will be evaluated ?
FSSAI is overall responsible for the Eat Right Research Awards and Grant and will play the role of a convenor. FSSAI will constitute an evaluation committee to oversee the evaluation process for both Awards and Grant.
- A total of three evaluation committees will be setup – one for each theme (Eat Safe, Eat Healthy, Eat Sustainable)
- Each committee will comprise of 5 members
- Members will be the representatives of FSSAI’s scientific panels and committees or reputed scientists working in Govt and Private R&D organizations, and associated institutions.
Disclaimer: The committee member whose research institute has applied will not evaluate the entry from his/her institute and a conflict of interest declaration will be taken for the same.
FSSAI is the overall custodian of Eat Right Research Awards and Grant. It is responsible for the conceptualizing, design and overall responsibility for conducting the Eat Right Research Awards and Grant.
Industry & Start-ups Association for mobilising start-ups that are affiliated to university/institution to apply.
University boards and Associations like AIU, UGC and Educational Institutes at national level to sensitize and create awareness among students and researchers to apply.
State FDA/ Regional Offices- Sensitizing and awareness amongst research institutions about the Eat Right Research Awards and Grant.
NetProFaN, NeTSCoFaN, Other technical experts and Domain experts - Ensuring good participation in the Eat Right Research Awards and Grant through social media engagement and facilitate critical evaluation and shortlisting.
