Submission Process Eat Right Research Awards & Grant

A. Submission Process for Eat Right Research Awards

 

Applications will be invited through an advertisement on FSSAI website and Eat Right India website. Applicants can visit/ follow the website for submission as well for evaluation of the entries.

Step 1: Register Online: Applicants need to register online on the portal www.eatrightindia.gov.in/researchawardandgrant

Step 2: Submission of preliminary application for screening: A research abstract needs to be submitted in the desired format along with the desired checklist provided by FSSAI through the online platform. The checklist will provide the list of documents that need to be submitted at the time of shortlisting or whenever asked by FSSAI.

Note: Applicants shortlisted during the preliminary screening are required to provide detail proposal along with original documents as per the desired checklist.

Step 3: Submission of detailed proposal (only for shortlisted entries): Only shortlisted entries will be asked to submit the detailed proposal (as per the template) accompanied with (i) supporting letter or declaration from the institution where the original research was undertaken, (ii) peer review/ publication in the international journal (iii) certificate for plagiarism check.

General Guidelines:
  • An applicant can participate in any two themes (sub themes) at maximum
  • The research should not be prior to April 2017
  • Application not received through proper channel will be rejected
  • All entries should be submitted with a forwarding letter from the institution in the prescribed format
  • Applicants are requested to provide the correct bank account details. FSSAI will not be held responsible for any discrepancies in the bank details provided by the participants.
B. Submission Process for Eat Right Research Institutional Award

 

Applications will be invited through an advertisement on FSSAI website and Eat Right India website. Interested Institutions can visit/ follow the website for submission as well for evaluation of the entries.

Step 1: Register Online: Interested Institutions need to register online on the portal www.eatrightindia.gov.in/researchawardandgrant

Step 2: Submission of detailed application for evaluation: The institution will submit a summary of achievements and details of research carried out as per the Eat Right India themes as per the application form provided by FSSAI in the given template.

Note: The institution must provide more details/ additional documents as required by the evaluation committee at any later stage to facilitate with the evaluation process.
General Guidelines:
  • An applicant can participate in any two themes (sub themes) at maximum
  • An applicant can share maximum 10 project details relevant to the Eat Right Themes.
  • The research should not be prior to April 2017
  • Applicants are requested to provide the correct bank account details. FSSAI will not be held responsible for any discrepancies in the bank details provided by the participants.
  • Application not receive through proper channel will be rejected
  • All entries should be submitted with a forwarding letter from the institution in the prescribed format
C. Submission Process for Eat Right Research Grant

 

Applications will be invited through an advertisement on FSSAI website and Eat Right India website. Applicants can visit/ follow the website for submission as well for evaluation of the entries.

Step 1: Register Online: Applicants need to register on Eat Right India online portal www.eatrightindia.gov.in/researchawardandgrant

Step 2: Submission of detailed proposal: This will include submission of detailed research proposal along with evidences of proof of concept/ready prototype/product/technique if any in the desired template. List of documents and necessary attachments along with the proposal (as per the template) shall cover:

  1. Proposal with budgets (detailed heads and sub-heads) as per the template provided
  2. Declaration/ Clearance from the institution where the original research is undertaken
  3. Conflict of interest statement
  4. Ethical clearance certificate
  5. CV’s of principle and co-investigator of the study (only education,research/professional experience, publications, funding history)
  6. Peer review/ publication in the international journal.

Step 3: Preliminary evaluation by FSSAI: FSSAI will undertake the shortlisting of applications and the shortlisted entries will move to final evaluation stage. Decision of the evaluation committee constituted by FSSAI will be considered final

Note: The institution must provide more details/ additional documents as required by the evaluation committee at any later stage to facilitate with the evaluation process.
General Guidelines:
  • An applicant can participate in any two themes (sub themes) at maximum
  • Proposed Duration of the research: should not be more than 2 years i.e. 24 months
  • Application not receive through proper channel will be rejected
  • All entries should be submitted with a forwarding letter from the institution in the prescribed format
  • Applicants are requested to provide the correct bank account details.FSSAI will not be held responsible for any discrepancies in the bank details provided by the participants.
