Food Safety beings at home. Large proportion of the food is consumed in India which either prepared self or with the domestic help. The food safety first starts in the kitchen as very well mentioned by the "Let Your Kitchen Be Your Pharmacy". As the Non Communicable Disease (NCD) are on the rise and 6 out of 10 factor are related to food. So the importance of the kitchen and the type of ingredients goes in is extremely important. Eat Right Home is the step in the direction of making intervention at every steps of the food chain starting from Purchase>Storage>Washing >Cutting >Cooking >Serving>Packing > Recooking. This initiative will be an excellent example of the implementation of Farm to Fork grounding all activities at consumer level.
Interactive awareness session for domestic workers - 2 Hrs. These two hour sessions will be interactive based on the flow of work and choices available with the domestic worker.

To train 1 million people including domestic workers and home makers based on the competence learning principle. These will be fragmented in achievable year based targets. At a given training around 50-100 domestic worker or the homemaker will be trained.
