Among many other initiatives related to serving safe, hygienic, and nutritious food in all its facilities with adequate monitoring mechanisms and several sustainability measures (such as managing food waste),

  • One of the important steps it took was to introduce +F staple foods at all its eating joints on campus. This inclusion was primarily aimed at filling up the existing gaps of vitamin and mineral deficiencies. While some of the food joint operators initially did have apprehensions of change of taste or appearance or texture of the cooked food (as a result of using +F staple foods),

  • Very soon these apprehensions dissipated and today we gladly share that all of IIT Gandhinagar a€™s eating joints have wholeheartedly contributed in its endeavour of being one of the countries first five-star rated (exemplary) €˜Eat Right Campus€.
