HCL: "I would like to thanks FSSAI and its team to help us in guiding us to make our HCL campus as safe workplace and awarded as Eat right campus, we are now proudly displaying the certificate at our all café Entrances, it also provides our employees, clients, and visitors a confidence while having food that whatever they are eating from café is safe food and good for health. Our Employees now also appreciate such initiatives through FSSAI and HCL. We soon will apply such good practices to our all other campuses in India. Through these initiatives we make our café food handlers trained for safe food handling and food production practices, they also feel good by getting trained by FSSAI trained professionals and certified too."

One of the important steps it took was to introduce +F staple foods at all its eating joints on campus. This inclusion was primarily aimed at filling up the existing gaps of vitamin and mineral deficiencies. While some of the food joint operators initially did have apprehensions of change of taste or appearance or texture of the cooked food (as a result of using +F staple foods),

Very soon these apprehensions dissipated and today we gladly share that all of IIT Gandhinagar a€™s eating joints have wholeheartedly contributed in its endeavour of being one of the countries first five-star rated (exemplary) €˜Eat Right Campus€.
