The phase 1 Eat Right course is a programme by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) with an aim to spread education and raise awareness on eating right - eating healthy and eating safe among the Direct Recruits, the civil service graduates on probation, to prepare them to be role models for the society.
Course Structure; Phase 1
The Phase 1 of the Eat Right Course, spread across 22 weeks, comprises of three -sessions of one hour each. The sessions are addressed by subject matter experts on each domain of eating right. At the end of the course, the participants are given a small booklet with activities under the ‘Eat Right India’ domain, which they can implement in their respective districts during the field visit. At the end of the field visit the participants would be required to present how they implemented these activities in their respective districts and the change they were able to achieve in making India follow Eat Right
The Eat RightComradeAward recognizes participants following the true spirit of Eating right. Individuals are evaluated by a special jury and are felicitated as Eat Right Comrade.
